Europe Trip 2015 - Barbara, Robert & Roy
May 14 - June 3, 2015.
The Google map above shows a driving route among the cities we visited, but actually, most of our inter-city travel was by train; we drove only from Valencia through Granada and Cordoba to Seville.

We didn't take nearly as many pictures in Madrid as in other cities, in part because the Prado and Reina Sofia art museums, the El Escorial Monastery, and the Civil War memorial all forbid interior photography.
FYI, here's a link to a portion of the Prado website that features some of the paintings we especially enjoyed there. At the Prado, we found works by Bosch, Velasquez and Goya especially engaging. The Reina Sophia specializes in modern and contemporary art, including Picasso's stunning Guernica.
